The excursion to Vesuvius starts from Porta Marina Superiore, the main entrance to Pompeii excavations. The driver will be waiting for you with a sign bearing the name of our agency.
Through the Vesuvius National Park, you will reach 1000 meters above sea level by bus. From there, you will walk about 25 minutes to reach the Crater. After the ride around the grand cone, you will meet your driver again. On the way back, there will be a short stop along the slopes of Vesuvius with a tasting of typical products of the inimitable gastronomy of Campania. At the end of the excursion you will be dropped off back at your accommodation or the main entrance of Pompeii excavations.
